New to bike world and this forum

Hi all, I am a mature rider who just got my M2 licenses last October here in Toronto, Canada, which fulfilled my dreams since highschool years. Besides my wife got her license at the same time too. Then we found this used 2015 CBR300R with less than 4000km in excellent conditions last November.

Last week, I had ride to work the first time and found that need more tips and practice to improve my riding skills to be more safe on the road.

My wife is only 5'-3" and she is not very comfortable yet riding on the bike tip-toeing. We tired the OEM lower seat but that does not help much. We are considering lowering the bike, so she could more close to flat footing on it at least at the beginning.

Love to meet more friends and for a leisure group ride.

im tall [5'7"] but never had a problem on many motorcycles.. as in everything, you use what youve got and according to conditions.. eg, foot down on high side, toe enough, just another variation of mounting the bike or sitting on it parked.. c of g being everything..

Hello wuso.
By "mature" you mean "well aged"?
BTW, if you take hwy 9 west past 401, there are some decent riding roads
around Hockley Valley.
Safe riding.

Yes I'm well aged!!
May check out some nice riding routes once I'm more confident on the road.
Thanks for your recommendation!

Like me, it sounds like you've reached that age where, before bending bend down to tie your shoelaces, you think carefully about well else you can do while you're down there.

Welcome.
