Bikes I've had over the years. Pictured last to first except 1965 Honda Super 90 was the first, the little bike gave a good 2nd gear wheelie with wide open power shift. The 250cc Ducati would hang with my neighbor's 650cc Triumph up to 60mph and topped out at 103mph indicated. Still have the CB450DOHC, 21K miles on it inop. in the basement. The CB650 was for me the beginning of the no leaks no troubles era of bikes, it was good for a 13.4 sec 1/4 mile. The CB900F was a blast, it encouraged misbehavior, a 11.6 sec 1/4 miler. Took a long break from bikes. In 1994 I bought a brand new still under its MSOE 1986 café styled SRX6 600cc thumper, it was was gorgeous! In 1996 I bought another never sold bike, a 1986 FJ1200S, from the same dealer, Hanson Motorsports in Racine, now out of business. With 130hp at the crank opening the throttle, once it got on the cams past 6K RPM it pulled like a rocket, made me laugh out loud. Decided to stop riding, sold it last spring to a guy who had it shipped to CA. It's now making him laugh out loud running Mulholland DR. with the big dogs. Found I couldn't shake the cycle itch, but felt at my age less bike would make sense, bought my cherry little CBR300r this fall.
