Question 2020 CB300r ABS

The 4th of July seems awfully early to see a new 2020 model at the dealer's. But my local Honda dealer has a CB300R ABS on his website, and since it has a stock #, I'm assuming on his floor. It's a "Matte Blue Pearl" MSRP $4949. Are you folks used to seeing new models come out this early?

To ride or not to ride? What a stupid question.

Yep, but only if there are no changes other than maybe colour options.

I know it's the current trend but I'm not a fan of the truncated rear end look. Otherwise I quite like the styling of the CB300R. Call me old school but I still quite like a round head light.

For me that bike is crying or a small "Cafe" fairing.... especially with that round headlight

The problem with bikes aimed at first time riders is that first time riders buy them..

Yep, and throw a solo seat speed hump on the rear and it would be a winner.
Give it time and there will be some kits coming out of Asia for sure.

I agree with CNDHONDAR the rear end is missing something but I definitely like the rest of the bike. I just can't afford to take a hit selling my CBR300 and getting a new CB300R. Love the round headlight and no fairing, like my first bikes back in the day.

I hear you, that is one of the drawbacks of buying the moto brand new at the Dealership because it makes you feel that you will have to drive the bike into the ground in order to justify the price.

Aaaaaa..back in the day... My bedroom wall was plastered with motorcycle posters... CB 350... cb 350/4... CB550/4.. Kawasaki 250/350 Triples.. ect. Yes there may have been a "girlie" poster too... Farrah... Linda Ronstadt. But this was my first ever motorcycle. I have never ridden one in my life as I bought it used in the Summer of 1978. It was a 77 model year.
