Job interview at Honda dealership today!

In less than 30 minutes I'll be talking to the owner of the local powersports dealer for a warehouse position that the service guy recommended me to apply for when I was there on Tuesday for an oil change. Pray for me, guys! I really want/need this job! If I get it, I can hook us all up with discounted CB/R300 parts!

"Perks"??? Free coffee???

The problem with bikes aimed at first time riders is that first time riders buy them..

I had a neighbor that "found" a few too many perks at work. She was sentenced to 3 years for embezzlement.

To ride or not to ride? What a stupid question.

Not to rain on the parade, but if you get the job that is one way you could you could lose it just as fast. Working at a dealership definitely has it's employee perks like discounted parts, deals on new bikes etc., but I'd be careful about abusing those benefits.

Besides, any of us can get the same parts at discounted prices from one of the online Honda dealers, which would not be far off from what you could get them for.

When I was young-like 50 years ago-I worked at a few different dealers over a period of ten years-yes it's fun to bench race all day but in the end you get burnt on bikes and after the day is done you don't want to see a bike-this happened to me and I had to decide get another job or give up bikes as a hobby-another job it was bikes stayed-to this day after all these years of riding and being retired now I still think I made the right call
