Utility Tractors

Took delivery on a new John Deere 5065E utility tractor back in April...

Heavy lifting with the Frontier Grapple...

In addition to the grapple, I have the standard bucket for the loader. Also have a Frontier Snowblower and a Frontier Rear Blade for the 3 point hitch. All in all a pretty nice set-up. Have nearly 60 hours on the meter so far.

Good tractors those John Deere. We've got a 70 series at my work we have set up with boom mowers front and rear for mowing the road sides. Very comfortable cab and hasn't missed a beat reliability wise.

@9th Honda To be fair Mike has posted this in Off Topic Discussion where you will find all sorts of threads. I started one about wine once... Cheers!

As kiwi rider pointed out, this particular forum is for off topic discussions (hence the title of this forum), meaning non-motorcycle topics.

Funny, as a kid I had a few of the 1/16 scale die-cast John Deere tractors (as well as Tonka trucks), dreaming of having a real, full sized John Deere one day.

To ride or not to ride? What a stupid question.

Believe it or not there is a 3rd cup holder! Can't see the third one in that pic, it's just below the right side arm rest behind the control levers for the 3 point hitch. And each one is a slightly different size to accommodate different size bottles/containers.

I missed this whole thread for some reason. I had a 5203 and a 5065. Loved the 5065!!! It was my first cabbed tractor. It did everything but loader work. that was my 5203. My grapple was for cleaning cow pens, so it was built a little different. When I went up north and grain farmed, I eneded up using the grapple for the same thing you are... I could put the log in the grapple, cut it for firewood between the tines, then dumped it on the pile...

Those 5 series, in my opinion, are the perfect size!!!
