Over the weekend I did the 600 mile maintenance - oil/filter change, idle speed inspection, and chain tightening.
All that went fine but I decided I needed heated grips as well. Ugh.
I bought the Oxford Touring and they feel great but, even having newspaper protecting the bike body, I ended up with a drip of the super glue on the right fairing.
So, my questions...
1. Best way to remove super glue from fairing decal? Or not? Maybe just a new decal on that side?
Where can I find just that right decal?

2. When/if those grips need replaced, how in the world do you remove them?

slice them down their length with a sharp box knife and try to peel them off. Superglue is not ideal, hair spray is better.

The Oxford's came with the super glue and a warning that it was the only appropriate adhesive for installing them. 🤷‍♂️
(I've been told I take instructions too seriously once or twice, lol)
Definitely going to be messy to remove them.

Aectone--nail polish remover --will take off super glue--but it also might remove the paint so be careful

Yup. Acetone removed the color from the fairing decal. $***!!
I've found replacement stickers, it's cheap enough and the mark bothers me enough I think I'm going that route.
So... how do I determine color?
I've found that the black/red bike is Honda color NW436 but the right middle cowl stripes are listed as Type 1 or Type 3.
