I do not want anything that is too loud, too expensive and will need a dyno I can look at. Any suggestions?

Only exhaust I have seen with dyno sheet is Akrapovic and Two Brothers. Not sure how Akrpovic sounds but dyno does not show much improvement over stock IMO to be worth the price. You can look up the Two Brothers on youtube. Its called tarmac exhaust, the dyno sheet looks good but sound like my four wheeler muffler, could sound better in person but I don't care for how it sounds in the video. The TBR exhaust will not be available until January.


Would the videos of exhaust on 250's be a good example of how it would sound on the 300?

I am going to look into a carbon fiber Two Bros full system when it comes out. It's got a nice look, 10+ pound weight savings vs. stock and a 1-2 hp increase.

I have a Yoshimura R77 slip on.....super light,sounds great and performs very well. Would fit in your budget as well.

Yeah those are nice, I have seen some positive feedback on them, not much negatives, but for the price it's great.

JKilla's video with the Yoshimura R77 slip on is great. It does however sound even better in real life. I have one and couldn't be happier with buying one. Not sure how any other manufacture could beat the cost,look,sound or performance as far as just slipping on a pipe without any other modifications.....

There is some good sound advice in this clip from Motorcyclist Magazine. Worth the six minutes IMO.
