I think they are rather pricey ...but in some cases you get what you pay for. A quality product costs more..:)

I bought a cheap eBay exhaust with the cbr300r name in the title, (SC racing or some knock off) sub 100$ pipe. It's midpipe fit great, and it was booming loud. I was so happy. But the materials were positively ****. The rubber spacer between the pipe and hanger dried out, crumbled, and created a LOUD rattling sound. The black paint peeled and the exposed can rusted. It was pretty "high flow" and did nothing for performance, and wouldn't without a Dyno. It looked and sounded cool at first, and it just went to **** from there.
RECOMMENDATION:
Black Rust-Oleum engine paint: 8$
Fine sandpaper: 3$
70%+ Alcohol: 2$
Clean rag: 1$
Fuel Controller 250$-450$
You can simply sand, clean, and paint your stock exhaust, and benifits from the expensive and well researched exhaust you already own. It actually looks really cool when painted, espically if you paint the passenger pegs and rearsets with it
