Still exciting for the Aussies though. Price isn't bad for Australia too @ $6,099 with ABS.

Any Aussie members disappointed that they didn't get the yellow and black version?
If I was an aussie i'd be pissed that yellow wasn't an option. But for all we know that could be something honda makes available in some future year model.

I think you must have missed the article linked to in Cropper's opening post... Australia is actually getting the black & yellow paint scheme for this model year.

I was more pissed i missed out on the 250 Repsol edition!
I did look into getting the Back & Yellow, but being as im a novice rider and the appaling driving standards here in OZ i went for the tri colour - easier to be seen!

This matte black / yellow is starting to grow on me. One good thing about it is that the finish is more blemish-friendly compared to the other three gloss paint finishes, which are more sensitive / softer... I feel.

Alas, couldn't steer my heart away from the Honda red.

Good point on the pro's to going yellow.

I'm also with you on keeping a honda red, i'd only go red with Honda... that's until I can afford a Ducati :D

I'm surprised you guys didn't get the repsol edition of the 250 as we had it over here in NZ. I owned one for a year.
I was disappointed we didn't get the repsol edition with the 300 like Thailand and i think India?
So yeah I went with the Honda red as well, though I think the tri colour looks real smart too. The all black look seems not so popular with the 300.

Oz actually did get the Repsol version of the CBR250R, just as most markets had it for the 2013 model year.

As for the CBR300R, Honda hasn't released a Repsol version (yet)... maybe they will in the next model year.

These Repsol bikes that you're seeing in some of the Asian markets which have the same new style bodywork as the CBR300R, are actually 2015 CBR250R's...

Even the 2015 CBR150R has the new style bodywork, and a Repsol version...

Thanks for clearing that up, had me fooled. I cant quite read the cc size insignia on the fairing in the photo. Nice look tho IMO.

When i purchased my 300r i had a choice between red or black and that was hard enough picking the colour of my first ever moto,I had it in my head from first seeing the two it was to be red and at the last moment while entering the bike numbers for whatever reason i went black and am sure now i made the right choice BUT given option 3 black and yellow it would have won hands down.

I would say anyway i haven't actually seen one yet .I think it would have been cool to have a gloss black yellow.

I like the Repsol livery but I've never seen one around anywhere. Have any of you guys seen them in person?
I'm guessing from what Mike was saying they have only been released in Thailand at this stage, maybe India as well but dont quote me! At least now we know they are 250's and not 300's.
There's heaps of the old shape 250's out here in New Zealand with the Repsol livery.

I was thinking this bike was a 300. There are some videos on youtube from Thailand that made me think it was. But if you look at the first picture closely the display card on the left front of the bike says 250.
