Hola Friends!

Picked up a used bike this winter and it has approximately 11800 on the ODO. Just did an oil change. Will be adjusting the chain tension and throwing in a new air filter.

Just wondering if I have to worry at all about maintenance of the fork.

At that mileage the fork oil will be well due for changing. Silkolene is a good make to use and had better specifications than many others.

Congrats on the new bike.. I'd be willing to bet it's also time to flush the brake fluid and refill with new..
IMO, the most important thing you can do for yourself and your bike.. is get and read through Honda's Owners Manual for your year and model. I have a link below to Honda's site, the owners manual should be available and free for download. The other link I have is info for Safety Recalls that may, or, not, be open for your bike. Safety Recalls are free and can performed by any authorized Honda Dealer, and the recall is on the motorcycle... not the original or particular owner. Just have your bike's VIN in hand before you check on the recall.
