Hey all,

Just picked up a 2018 CB300F and I'm super excited to take it on some longer trips. I'm looking for a rear luggage rack to mount my givi topbox, but can't find the H2C rack from bikerbitz that is mentioned in some previous threads.

Anyone try any of the chinese racks from ebay claiming to fit the CB300F? Such as this one?

Thanks!

Similar to the one I have. Mine has been on for four years and works OK with my topbox.

Looks like a pretty direct fit, thanks for the photo. So yours is pretty much an identical design to the chinese made rack that I linked?

Hmmph ....nother one chasing a top box. I'm going to opt for a Shad as the top case can be moved in tighter to the buddy seat....looks better IMNSHO

I wish there was a 3P system for the CB300 :( Rather have SH23 side cases like my cb500x had.

I don't want the topbox to be closer to the pillion seat. I'm not flexible enough at 82 to squeeze on the bike. I manage OK with the pillion seat clear and that is no problem as I changed the seat to a cowl.

I'm only chasing the rear rack because I already have a nice Givi topbox. I like the look of hard saddlebags, but not willing to buy more luggage right now. It's just been hard to track down a compatible rear rack for this bike : /

I hear you ....me getting on my KLR650 is okay ,..getting off another story after a longish ride. I'm 5' 9" with 30" inseam. I use lifted boots for the KLR.
This has now worked out to use that pillion space for my laptop and still get on easily

Still considering the Shad system so I have a lockable, rain proof solution but damn I hate the look
Glad to hear you are still riding.(y)

Nice. I wouldn't say 'ugly as sin'... Like most wonderful pleasures... looks are in the eyes of the beholder.
May you be more complimentary... Voluptuous with lot's of potential. ;)

Have you taken a passenger on there? Honestly, since the top box matches your bike, it looks nice to me. Good hips-to-waist ratio lol.

Mine is ugly...

Keep the pizza hot ?? 🤔
In Australia we save a couple hundred a year in registration/liability cost by opting for solo seat and the rear pegs are removed by the dealer to comply.
I'm 73 and been a while since I've needed a buddy seat tho 50 years ago it was a chick magnet on my surpringly similar 305 Superhawk. Weight is the same within 1 kg but of course the 2015 has far better brakes. Power about the same.

I'm jealous of your red version.. sold my pretty Canadian CB500x since I'm in Australia permanently.

OP - the Shad rack will work with GIVI plates. It is VERY solid.
