Does anyone know what the 20mm orange cube is on the electrical loom. Four wires in, positioned on the left under the seat?
I have foolishly tried to utilise these cables to fit my sat nav thinking that they where just blanked off auxiliary cables. Now bike won’t start.

You'll be sleeping now but my gut feeling was that it was plug where the dealer hooks into for diagnostic purposes and you've lost the cap.

A quick google search bought up this thread from the CBR500 forum and it looks the same as yours.

You may have (hopefully) only blown a fuse so check all those first.

Thank you for your help Kiwi Rider, that certainly is the same component. I will try and purchase a new one, check the fuse and find another earth for my satnav.
