Only time I dropped my CB300F was in a parking lot, when I realized my turning radius was too wide and I was headed for a curb. I stabbed the brakes at 5mph, the bike stopped, gravity caught up with us.
This guy absolutely knows what he's talking about. But I learned from experienced track riders that taught the same thing, as well as my license class I spent time afterwards talking to the instructors about it. I myself have been riding since I was a kid and I'm well into my 30s so I have years under me and many failed attempts. Not including my experience and multiple vehicles. Trailbraking is the same concept on every vehicle. Takes trial, error, and time till you get it all down.
