A while ago I got a Garmin Zumo XT mainly because on some longer rides up in the more mountainous areas my cell phone would crap out and loose signal as well as the better ability to play music. I originally mounted it on my Triumph Street Scrambler but over this summer I made another for the 300F. I made a bracket from aluminum for the handle bar clamp and made some risers for the mount to clear the triple tree. It sits just outside barely outside of view with a helmet on but is still easily viewed with a head nod. The GPS unit works very well and does a good job as a middle man between my phone and Sena if I want it to or I can just pair with the Sena.

You can get a RAM mount to go in the centre hole of the fork crown. Had one on my CBR and got one (19mm diam) for the CB300R.

If the phone camera has image stabilization, the vibration might fry it. Result is camera can't focus. I lost one before adding the dampener to my quadlock setup (which I prefer over RAM).
