The Honda VFR800X Crossrunner features prominently in almost any discussion of cool bikes that don’t make it to the U.S. For those not already in the know, the original Crossrunner has been sold overseas since 2011. We noted its EICMA debut in 2010 and silently crossed our fingers in hope that this VFR800 framed but converted to a more upright, utilitarian positioned Naked bike would see time in our garages – to no avail...

I'm also surprised it's not being sold in the u.s.
not sure what reason they have, just that i'd like to know their reason for it.
Yea, at this point I am just curious why. I think people would buy it, so it makes me think that perhaps it would compete with a bike that is already on the market here by Honda. I can't think of any other reason why they wouldn't bring it state side.

hi! im new here, im from argentina but im living in texas rigth now... i live in diferent countries and there is no better example than the image attached...and acording to the Motorcycle Industry Council this are the 2014 numbers so far

ON-HWY 65,301
ATV 45,388
OFF-HWY 16,597
DUAL 7644
SCOOTER 4992

that bike is more like a Dual sport so... maybe in 10 years:D
also check the diference in other country and that is the reason why they get more models and more cool stuff.

PS: sorry for the crapy english! im still learning!:nerd:

I think things are changing in the U.S. I'm no rocket scientist but I think America is looking at motorcycles and transportation differently these days. Pretty sure Honda will continue to roll with the times. I personally think the 300r is a brilliant example of the things to come......
