Hello everyone,

This will be my first post here! I am currently building a 2015 cbr300r race bike and an extremely excited because it will be my first track oriented bike. The motor was just finished with everything lol! The only issue I'm running into now is the darn EPA... Because I've heavily built my motor my tuner has told me that the dyno jet power vision 3 is really not going to give me the best performance. So my only solution is to buy an old discontinued power commander V because they were not as strangled by EPA crap.
So now is my plea for help from you wonderful folks. Does anyone have a power commander V I can buy from them? Maybe you have a friend who used it to tune their bike but all they had was a new exhaust. I would be willing to come up with a creative solution like that where I give you a power vision 3 since it will still easily tune something like that. It's just that I don't think the PV3 is going to cut it when I'm big bored, cammed, ported, and bigger throttle body.
Anyways hopefully one of you guys can help. Also yes I'll send videos once it's done! Currently just trying to get over these road bumps..

I'm also very used to the people on forums with their strong opinions so I politely ask you this. I built this as a race bike because it's what I wanted to do. I am here to ask for help not to be lectured on how if I wanted a fast bike I should've bought something bigger.

Welcome. I'll leave the racing/tune tips to someone more knowledgeable.
But I'd suggest you go back and edit your title from *Asking the Community... to something akin to "Want To Buy Power Commander ...."
Thes guys and girls are a helpful lot, but the idea of selling and making a dollar is also appealing some of them.
Top right of your post, you'll see three vertical dots, Click and choose 'edit thread'.
It may or not also be helpful to let us know what year the bike, and or, engine is to get an idea of coupling of wiring compatibility.
Same deal with 3 vertical dots at upper right of your 1st post, if you'd like to edit and include the info.

Thank you! I've changed it. Hope ping for good news. Right now I'm researching my own solutions but this is a bit of a roadblock for me as of now
