I like the shorty look of this exhaust. The exhaust note sounds nice. Not sure if it is what I would do with my own bike, but I appreciate it nonetheless. I see that it is made of carbon fiber, which means it is super light weight too. Is anyone firm on the purchase of this exhaust pipe?

I don't think that the stubby exhaust is for me. I would want something that is more mid-length. It would still have the same style though, just longer. I am down with the carbon fiber instead of chrome or aluminum or whatever. I am just not sure that the stubby exhaust would look suited to the CBR300.

Or just buy a 2nd bike for the track and make it as annoying as you want it to be, problem solved :D

No need to wake up babies and old people every day
I'm much too poor to afford that now, but trust me that's the plan :D Thats what I'm saying its a little unnecessary for street use no matter HOW cool it looks and sounds

plus i think my ears will thank me in 20 years ;)

actually as an aside, is anyone interested in the CBR300 to turn it into a track bike? quarter liters are pretty fun on the track, WOT more than a Liter :D:D

Or just keep a CBR300 for daily commutes and get a Grom to do all the madness you wish to do. A lot of guys are picking up a Grom.

Listen up guys.

Those M4 mufflers (if you can even call them a "muffler") are INSANELY LOUD. Do not waste your money... you will hate it, because your neighbors will hate you forever for putting that garbage on your bike.

Trust me.

If you want a quality slip-on exhaust, look no further than FMF.

Or better yet, how about a shorter and better looking exhaust like this short straight pipe?

probably a better look and sound
That's just a chrome outlet tip on this R6... it's really nothing more than appearance 'bling'. The actual muffler is hidden under the lower cowl (you can see the rear portion of the muffler below the chrome outlet).

As I said in my previous post, on a single cylinder motorcycle like the CBR250R/300R these short mufflers like the M4 are insanely loud... there are far better things to spend your money on.
