purchased this a week ago,it did not fit right.the solution is an adjustable bracket.it should have been included(first picture) it wasnt.went to local auto parts store and got a u-joint repair kit and hammer the metal part straight.now it fits ok.

What I've done with a couple stock exhausts is drill the rivets from one end, on yours I would work on the inlet side.

Drill the rivets out, remove the cap, cut the can down to make it about 5 inches shorter, drill new rivet holes and install new rivets.

A box of rivets and a cheap gun will run you about $12.
Cut weight, get a bether looking shorter can, and all without spending much money.
