Today was an autumn day taken out of a dictionary's definition of "autumn" (I don't want to say "fall", as that's not a biker's friend). 10 degrees C (50F), partly cloudy, colourful leaves everywhere. Went for a 160 km (100 mi) ride to a Simcoe county forest. There I counted white pines, said Hi to squirrels, ate lunch, and had a 3.5 km walk. From the forest it was a 30-minute run to the village of Belfountain, where bikers meet. There were lots of bikes, from the Spyder trike to BMWs and Ducatis. It's easy to start a conversation with a biker and keeping on talking From Belfountain Mississauga Road took me all the way down to the lake (Ontario Lake) and back home. Some of the roads were unpaved, and the CB easily conquered them.
