Hi guys. I am the new owner of a 2015 cbr 300r
The engine is sounding as though the rocker arms are knocking
Upon further examination im left with believing the valves may need shimming.
My question is does anyone know what the valve clearance should be?
EX: .006 + - .002

Also, am i correct in saying the shim size is 7.48?

There's a pretty serious crank shaft recall on the 2015 and 2016 models that can result in engine failure. You might want to reach out to a dealer as Honda should repair it at no charge. Good luck.

Per Honda service manual: IN .006" +/- .001"
EX .011" +/- .001"

(measure valve clearance with a cold engine)
